Liverpool Psych Fest 2016: VR Demo and Q&A with Pete Fowler and Draw & Code

4:00pm – 8:00pm

This August, the UK’s largest celebration of psychedelic subculture, Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia returns for its fifth edition. In the run up to this year’s main event, Liverpool Psych Fest have teamed up with FACT to present a series of events, from film screenings of classic psychedelic cinema to live outdoor performances and workshops.

On 26th August, for one day only, as part of the ‘An Opening Dispatch’ launch event, long-time Super Furry Animals illustrator all-round creative genius, Pete Fowler and Liverpool’s very own VR wizards, Draw&Code are putting on a VR workshop. The guys will be providing an insight into the creative process behind their off-the-wall collaboration (Perambulator V.1) for this year’s Psych Fest, with a demo of some of their work and a Q&A session, alongside a showcase of virtual reality works within The Box.

The UK’s leading media arts centre, FACT (Wood Street) in Liverpool.

Tickets are free but booking is required as spaces for the Demo and Q&A are limited. Register here.
