Project Description

At this year’s Digital Construction Week, Immerse UK partnered up with i3P to create an exciting pitch challenge. The session allowed 8 SMEs to come up with VR/AR solutions to problems posed by Heathrow Airport, Kier Group, and CH2M for the chance to win funding and raise the corporate profile of immersive tech.

 

Our CD Samantha Kingston acted as the MC for one of the sessions, keeping things running smoothly by liaising between the investors and attendees, curating questions, and encouraging participation. In particular, she felt it was her role to help ‘pitchees’ make the most of their time-slot by supporting them in keeping their pitches well-organised, as well as using her expertise to help the i3P companies to ask the right kind of questions.

 

As a whole, we incredibly impressed with the quality of the ideas being pitched, so it was very rewarding to facilitate a process which supports cutting-edge developments in the VR/AR industries.
